Breathe.

In times where we try to run from the truth

Our minds break down and internal chaos ensues

There is so much fear and we’re distracted from what we are capable of

We forget often that together we are powerful if we rise up

There are plenty of issues in this world that need solving

We have to see through the darkness, we need to remember that we are evolving

With great power, comes great responsibility

It’s time to acknowledge ourselves and our amazing abilities

To make art, love, music, happiness, peace

It’s, at our core, what we all want to see

breathe. breathe. breathe.

Go outside and surround yourself with something so pure

The trees, the sunlight, the wind; the things we normally ignore

Because we are so busy, so stressed

The majority of us claim that we’re depressed

So sit down and close your eyes

Forget the weight of the world, and all of what you despise

breathe. breathe. breathe.

Let go of the heaviness and glance up at the sky

You have the power to calm the storm inside, you just have to try

We operate best from a place of internal love and peace

If we all did this, we’d see that war and hate would finally cease

We need to be strong for each other in times of uncertainty

I’m asking you to do this one thing for me

Once every day while you’re home

And alone

breathe. breathe. breathe.

xoxo
