For the last month, I have been partaking in a social media detox. My mind has been clearer and I have been feeling more and more creative. I finalized business plans for something special in 2020, and have been experiencing special moments. A part of me wants to cut this detox short as I have successfully finished 17 days of this. I am eager to begin a new chapter where I am full of clarity and my soul is refreshed. There is so many amazing things coming into my life and I am eternally grateful. I will not allow social media to run me like it started doing before this detox. I will post and observe mindfully and without judgement towards others or myself. I will love myself genuinely for who I am. I will spread kindness and love to others. I will enjoy moments intimately. And if for whatever reason, I feel stuck or allow my ego to bring feelings of insecurity; I will do this again. I challenge you to take even just a 7 day social media detox. It really works wonders. Anyway, back to creating ✨

• this heart • ______________________________________________________________ weekend mornings remind me just how precious love can be buried beneath the blankets with a sleeping lover, the world frozen, it seems in this moment, staring at the freckles on their back, their messy bed hair you wonder, how the hell did you get so lucky? was this even fair? what have you done to find someone so unbelievably kind? in the moments where you’re laughing together, this thought occasionally crosses your mind the universe knew you spent months patching yourself together, learning and growing from your past and once you repaired the broken pieces and found love within yourself, everything happened so fast one day, you were just existing here on this floating rock in space then you happened to see the smile on their face... * read the rest on the blog * ___________________________________________________ it’s been so long since i’ve written anything. it feels good to dive into the creative waters again. hopefully, i will stay here in this place.

finding yourself is a magical thing. i’ve learned that when you’re alone, you become comfortable with who you are. you sift through the chaotic thoughts, find missing parts of yourself and fall in love with your soul. it’s up to you to keep growing. you learn lessons, you fall down. but you have to get up and try again. i am so blessed to be able to exist here in this journey. things happen, relationships end, you lose jobs, etc. but believe me, it’s all for a purpose. love yourself, love your growth, and love your essence. it’s beautiful and deserving of your goals. • xoxo •
